Trick or Treat

Yes, tomorrow is All Hallow's eve, and the kids will be around and about, trying to get at my candy pile. All I can say is that they're going to have to earn it by enduring a few scares on the way to the doorbell.

I recall a few years back when I heard one kid out in the street say, "I'm not going there -- it's way too scary." Sigh -- it brings a tear to the eye.

That said though, there's still lots of stuff to get done before tomorrow night:

• Finish Ronan's helicopter costume


• Pop over to Value Village to see if there's anything I can use for Julie's costume


• Carve the pumpkin appropriately


• Hang the outdoor decorations


• Plug in the eerie Halloween lights (which also happen to double as my Christmas lights -- hey, I'm a multi-tasker, what can I say?)


• Watch at least one scary movie


• Put out the Halloween treats

And I still have to finish some major release work for my day-time job. Better stop blogging and get busy!
